Maths - Making Numbers

This term some students in Room 16 has been learning how many groups of tens and ones are in a number. To show their understanding the students used bundles and sticks to make numbers. Here's what they have made on PicCollage.

 

 

Maths - Making 5

This term Ava learnt how to make 5 using materials.
Here's is what she did on PicCollage to show how 3 and 2 makes 5 and how 2 and 3 makes 5.

PicCollage Writing

Last week we had another go at doing some writing on the tablets using PicCollage.

We took a photo of something from our classroom and wrote a sentence about our photo. We also had to practice writing words we don't know by sounding out and writing down the sounds we can hear.
