Daniel's Reading Response

We are back to implementing Explain Everything on the iPad in our everyday programme. Here's what Daniel did on Explain Everything after he read the book 'My Brother'.
Well done Daniel on giving this a go.

Warriors

On Wednesday the Warriors came to Glen Taylor School. We learnt about how important it is to keep hydrated, be well rested and to eat well. Did you know that children need 11 hours of sleep each night and adults need 8 hours of sleep each night?

Looks like I need to work hard on making sure I get at least 8 hours of sleep each night.  Room 16 students, I hope you are getting at least 11 hours of sleep each night!

Working with our Buddy Class

Last Friday our buddy class (Room 8) joined our classroom and we did some learning around leaves. With our buddies we picked some leaves from our school forest and discussed the similarities and differences among the leaves we picked.

We found that leaves comes in different shapes, sizes and colour and they all have veins.
Thank you Room 8 for helping us with our learning.
